From Day One — The Journey Begins with Us

When a patient first approaches us, we start with care and clarity. Every step is guided, verified, and documented to ensure trust and dignity.

We document patient details, medical reports, and hospital references.

Our medical case team verifies the diagnosis and prepares the cost estimate. We explain every possible treatment support option to the patient and family.

2️⃣ Counseling & Guidance

Trained counselors and cancer survivors help patients understand their condition, calm their fears, and mentally prepare them for treatment.

We guide families about hospital options, financial aid, and emotional coping.

Our “Patient Support Desk” stays available 7 days a week to answer their concerns.

  1. Financial & Medical Support

    We know the biggest fear after diagnosis is “How will we pay for treatment?” That’s where our support begins — with honesty and direct help.
    Emergency Treatment Support Fund: For urgent medical needs, direct hospital bill payments are made from our verified funds.

    Crowdfunded Treatment Assistance: Verified patients can be added to our online Fundraiser Section for public donation help.

    Medicine & Diagnostic Aid: Partial or full financial support for medicines, lab tests, or radiation sessions through verified hospital channels.
    Zero-Cash Transfer Policy: We pay directly to hospital accounts, ensuring zero misuse and complete transparency.
    Every rupee is documented, receipted, and audited — your trust and our integrity stay intact.

  2. Cancer Care Home (Under Development)

    A dream in progress — our Karkinium Cancer Care Home will provide temporary accommodation for poor or outstation patients undergoing long-term treatment.

    Facilities will include:

    • Clean, safe lodging near hospitals
    • Nutritious meals for patients and caregivers
    • Free counseling & yoga sessions
    • Basic nursing assistance
    • Transportation support for hospital visits
    • This initiative ensures that no patient sleeps on the streets while fighting for life.

  3. Emotional & Psychological Support

    • Cancer shakes the spirit — so we heal both body and mind.
    • Counseling Sessions: Individual and family therapy to deal with fear, anxiety, or depression.
    • Survivor Mentorship: Survivors guide new patients with strength and real-life experiences.
    • Mind & Body Healing Workshops: Meditation, art therapy, and positivity training sessions help rebuild confidence.

  4. Family Support & Education

    • Cancer affects not just the patient — it affects the entire family. We ensure caregivers are never left unprepared.
    • Caregiver Guidance Programs: Teach families how to manage care, diet, side effects, and emotional needs.
    • Financial Planning Help: Guidance on treatment budgeting, insurance, and saving from unnecessary hospital costs.
    • Community Help Groups: Family members can join support circles and talk with others who understand their pain.

  5. Post-Treatment & Survivor Rehabilitation

    • Survivor Network: Connects recovered patients to inspire those still fighting.

    • Karkinium Life Membership for Survivors: Once a patient recovers, they automatically become part of our Karkinium Survivor Circle — a family that keeps giving back.

  6. Palliative & End-of-Life Care

    • For patients in advanced stages, comfort, peace, and dignity are our mission.
    • Home Visit Nursing Programs (Planned): Home-based care for immobile patients.
    • Emotional & Spiritual Counseling: Helping families and patients cope with last-stage realities.
    • Memorial Support Initiative: Every patient is remembered and honored through our Karkinium Memorial Program, ensuring their fight is never forgotten.

NEW: Karkinium Chemo Center Chain (Under Development)

Cancer treatment should not mean long travel, hotel stays, or weeks of waiting for a chemotherapy turn. Karkinium Cancer Council will collaborate with hospitals and oncologists in every city of India to create a nationwide chain of Chemo Centers — accessible, fast, and affordable.

Our Chemo Centers will offer:

  • Subsidized chemotherapy sessions under NGO support
  • On-time treatment scheduling to reduce waiting periods
  • Tie-ups with local hospitals and oncology units
  • Medical-grade safety and comfort for patients
  • Guidance and supervision from registered oncologists
  • Priority slots for financially weaker patients under our NGO fund

These centers will bring treatment closer to home — saving families time, money, and emotional exhaustion. We believe that cancer care should be available without the burden of travel or waiting for weeks in hotels.
