At Karkinium Cancer Council, we believe education and experience together can build an unstoppable force against cancer. Our Training & Internship Programs are designed to shape dedicated individuals and students into informed, confident, and compassionate cancer awareness leaders.
Because every informed person can save a life
The Karkinium Cancer Council Training Program is a foundational learning initiative designed to equip every volunteer, health worker, and supporter with essential knowledge about cancer — its causes, early signs, preventive care, and available treatments.
This program is compulsory for all Karkinium members and volunteers, ensuring that everyone representing KCC speaks with knowledge, confidence, and compassion. It offers clear understanding of different types of cancer, screening procedures, diagnostic markers, and basic patient guidance.
Our aim is to make every participant a messenger of awareness — someone who can recognize warning signs, guide patients toward early diagnosis, and help communities understand that cancer can be cured if detected early.
The training is specially designed for ASHA workers, Anganwadi members, rural and urban practitioners, volunteers, and influencers, providing them with practical skills and authentic knowledge to support their roles in society.
Every participant completing the training will receive an official “Karkinium Cancer Awareness Training Certificate”, recognizing their contribution to building a more informed and cancer-aware nation.
Because at Karkinium, we believe —
“Education today means lives saved tomorrow.”A journey of learning, serving, and becoming the change.
The Karkinium Cancer Council Internship Program is not just an internship — it’s an opportunity to be part of a real movement against cancer. Here, students don’t just study… They create impact, touch lives, and build their future with purpose.
We offer internships for nursing students, health workers, medical and non-medical students across various departments — including awareness campaigns, early detection camps, social media & communication, data collection & research, policy making, fundraising, and digital media operations.
Through hands-on participation in real fieldwork, awareness camps, and community programs, interns gain practical experience, global exposure, and professional certifications that strengthen both their resumes and their hearts.
At Karkinium, we strongly believe in women’s empowerment — inspiring young women to rise as leaders, healers, and changemakers in healthcare and society
Step into the field of learning, compassion, and real-world experience. We encourage both male and female students, with special appreciation and mentorship opportunities for young women leaders inspired to make social change through healthcare.
